About the Conference

Welcome to the 2024 International Conference on Collaborative Endeavors for Global Sustainability (CEGS), which will be held at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada. Scheduled for May 15-16, this dynamic forum brings together a global community of thought leaders, policymakers, academics, and advocates passionate about realizing the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This conference emphasizes the interdisciplinary effort necessary to transform our world and fortify societal resilience through the SDGs. We are devoted to exploring optimal models and scenarios for SDGs integration, which requires significant international initiatives to facilitate sustainable progress. We aspire to chart a path forward through the lenses of modern technology, innovative research, and interdisciplinary approaches.
In this vein, CEGS 2024 calls upon the global academic and professional community to contribute their boundary-crossing research, experiences, and case studies. We seek both conceptual and empirical research contributions that will expand the understanding and application of the SDGs. We focus on exploring various pillars of sustainability—environmental, technical and technological, social, institutional, and economic—to ensure a long-lasting sustainable impact.
From a broader perspective, this conference serves as a platform to provide actionable solutions for societal transitions in the 21st century. We aim to address a spectrum of issues, including poverty eradication, climate change mitigation, promotion of lifelong learning, social empowerment, affordable energy implementation, sustainable economic growth, innovation propagation, inequality reduction, and global sustainability.
Join us in catalyzing significant dialogues, sharing innovative strategies, and fostering collaborations geared toward achieving these essential goals. Together, we can drive impactful change and bring us closer to a more sustainable world.
